In RunCore’s pursuit of the ultimate solid state drive (SSD) upgrade, we have created a new class for our Pro IV SSD line, called the Pro IV Light. This is the second installment to the Pro IV Light product line following the mini-SATA version for the Asus T91. This mini-PATA drive is focused on bringing optimum performance to smaller devices, such as the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and Dell Vostro A90, by boosting computer performance 5x to 40x in various benchmarks. RunCore Pro IV Light mini-PATA SSDs are available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities with smaller capacity drives for OEM needs upon request.
This revolutionary new SSD design not only boosts your sustained performance, but it also focuses on random small file read and write speeds, the speeds that create bottlenecks in current and past PATA and SATA HDDs, and many SSDs. Operating systems and applications consist of thousands of small files; the RunCore Pro IV Light SSD can process these files at nearly 5-40 times the speed of the original SSD and/or any other upgrade of this form factor available, creating a more efficient and satisfying user experience.
Another major advantage to the new design is that the performance increase is constant among each capacity from 16GB-64GB, compared to previous SSDs of this type, which experienced performance drops as the GB size decreased. Essentially, we’ve leveled the playing field where Dell Mini 9 and Vostro A90 users looking to utilize a 16GB drive will now experience the same performance boost seen by 64GB upgrades allowing everyone to meet their high speed needs regardless of budget.
